This news came in an email from Scott Beebe:
"we are proud to announce a new signing on our
[<unit>] label. this
comes in the form of 'gridlock'. gridlock joins artists such as
voltaic, reset, and the very own gridlock side project dryft on
the
label. formerly on pendragon, gridlock has had affiliation with
possessive blindfold since the first exoskeleton compilation and
doing
remixes for holocaust theory. mike and cadoo of gridlock have
been
moving into new directions with their hybrid sound and thus
wanted a
label they could grow with and have support their audio. thus the
relationship between gridlock and [<unit>] begins. we
welcome mike and
cadoo into the [<unit>] family. gridlock will appear with a
new track
'edit397' on the upcoming [<unit>] comp entitled 'xxxd
generation', a
limited 7" vinyl will be available in the summer, and then
their long
anticipated 3rd full length cd 'trace' in late fall 2000."
